MAME, MESS, and Other Fun

According to an email from Joystiq, Rock Band 3 has been announced.  Hooray!  I can’t wait to see how the Rock Band fans will spin it to make Harmonix out to be innocent angels (in between sessions of franctically trying to ram the Rock Band devs’ dongs into their mouths) while still decrying Activision as the ones trying to milk the music/rhythm genre.

EA, in their penchant for shilling the game series they own onto every device with a CPU, have finally announced a release date of June 22nd for Rock Band Wii. Check it out.

Let me come right out and say that I will donate $100 to the MAME dumping project if the game doesn’t end up being little more than a rehash of the PS2 version, complete with gimped FMV-character-and-venue graphics.
